Commercial Project | Currency Exchange
Globex 2000 World Trade Centre
A currency exchange branch in the glass-roofed atrium of the World Trade Centre Montréal, where a classic stone storefront opens onto a client hall of rich wood panelling, green marble, and warm, polished light.
The Project
Classic materials, composed for everyday service.
Set along the brick-paved promenade of the World Trade Centre Montréal, beneath its glass roof and lantern-lit facades, the Globex 2000 branch presents a composed stone storefront. A curved brushed-metal sign lit by black gooseneck lamps crowns glass double doors framed in dark wood, with the Bureau de change lettering and a branded flag marking the entrance.
Inside, the client hall is wrapped in mahogany-toned panelling and crown moulding above a green marble floor laid in an octagonal pattern. Teller windows with glass partitions and green marble counters line one wall, while teal leather banquettes, a marble ledge, and a globe-bulb chandelier at the entrance bring a calm, refined sense of order. Behind the glass, a backlit Globex 2000 sign anchors the service area.
